The garden follows your local clock: daylight from 07:00 to 19:00, night from 19:00 to 07:00. The ☾ NIGHT MODE / ☀ DAY MODE button switches by hand until the clock next crosses dawn or dusk.
Click the Hokora at the downstream end of the river to draw today's omikuji — a daily fortune poem woven from your biometrics. One reading per day; revisiting the shrine shows the same poem.
At night a small jellyfish lantern glows on the sand beside the shrine. Click it to receive tonight's whisper: a gentle sleep guide and a short deep-sea bedtime tale, both written from the day you have just lived, from waking until now: how you woke (last night's sleep, deep sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, temperature and breath) and how the day moved (activity, steps, active and sedentary time, stress and restorative calm). The guide reads that day, and the tale's mood quietly mirrors it.
A bottle rests beside each day's coral cluster. Click today's glowing bottle to write a short message. Past bottles are read-only — the body has already sealed them. Today's bottle can be re-opened within the day to add new thoughts; once midnight passes, it seals.
Every cluster holds seven corals. Each species reflects one biometric dimension through its size (scale) and colour (hue → saturation → lightness). The overall cluster size is driven by the day's readiness score.
The overall size of each day's cluster is driven by the Oura Readiness score (50–90 window, mapped to 0.55× – 1.80× scale). Subtle readiness differences produce obvious visual differences — the garden reads as taller on strong days, crouched on tired ones. The substrate rock and the floating date label stay a constant size across all days.
Inside each coral, base-to-tip meshes get a small hue, lightness, and emissive gradient. Stems stay a little deeper, tips glow a little warmer — so corals read as living organisms rather than painted statues.
Today's sign is drawn from yesterday's Oura readiness score — weighted against sleep and heart rate variability. The body writes the fortune; the shrine merely reads it.
Score is computed as readiness × 0.5 + sleep × 0.3 + HRV × 0.2, each normalized to 0–100. The Oura app's own readiness score carries the most weight because it already blends sleep, HRV, activity, and temperature.
